CORAM DEO

Coram Deo means before the face of God.
It is the conviction that all of life is lived in His presence, under His authority, and for His glory. Coram Deo is an independent clothing and design studio, shaped by the conviction that all of life is lived before the face of God.

A WORD FIRST APPROACH

This work begins with Scripture.
 Not as ornament, but as foundation. The Word of God is received, believed, and lived before it is ever set in form. It stands complete in itself, clear and enduring. Some pieces carry Scripture directly.
Others carry the name alone.

And whatsoever ye do,
do it heartily, as to the Lord,
and not unto men.
Colossians 3:23

FORM AND LANGUAGE

The visual language draws from historic forms, blackletter script, and the tradition of the written Word.
Not to recreate the past, but to remain rooted in something that endures. What is made is kept simple, so that what matters is not obscured.

THE SIGNATURE

The Coram Deo signature is not just a mark. It is a quiet, unapologetic confession. Coram Deo, before the face of God.


THE POSTURE

Nothing here adds to the Word.
Nothing replaces what only God does. Clothing remains clothing.
The Word remains sufficient. What matters is how it is received, and how it is lived.

MADE WITH CARE

Each piece is made with care, with attention given to material, form, and finish. Not to elevate the object, but to approach the work with honesty and integrity.
